My Nonprofit Reviews

This is an update to my original story about UAC. Since that time, I have been supporting UAC for more than 15 years. When the student or students I am supporting graduate from their school of choice, I check the UAC site to find a new student seeking a better education and life. For the last two years, I have been supporting a young teenager named Elisey. We are a good match; he is my namesake because my name is Eliseo! We also share the same goals; for Elisey to finish the marine college and become a sailor. I receive monthly letters from Elisey and watch his progress. Another goal is for Elisey to become a successful in his chosen profession and become a productive citizen of his beloved Ukraine and break the chain of poverty and cycle of life that left him an orphan. My hope is that my story will encourage others to support UAC, as there are so many orphans and children in need in Ukraine, who with a little help become successful. The greatest reward is to see your students succeed and to know that your help changes their lives and their future families.
