I am the founder of Searches for Seniors, a not-for-profit initiative that provides opportunities for senior citizens in isolation to explore technology while staying up to date with current events. In the last year, I have partnered with Shepherd's Centers of America, working with Sarah Cheney to distribute newsletters to the organization's various branches nationwide. My experiences working with her have been amazing, as she has introduced me to senior citizens of all different backgrounds and experiences and has provided me with insight on how to support my own grandparents and relatives amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. I know that Sarah, as well as the rest of her team, have done such an incredible job of helping so many older adults out there, especially amidst these unprecedented times.
