Statement arts isn’t like other intensives that are offered in the city. It’s so easy to build an environment that can promote this sense of competition amongst students especially when regarding the performing arts! Statement arts however, does quite the opposite. From my experience, being able to not only intern and learn from one of the greatest vocal coaches all thanks to connections made through this program, but watching the growth of certain students that have never set foot on stage to being comfortable to perform a whole showcase was nothing less than magical. The atmosphere of unconditional love of the self and community that is taught within this program is one that every kid making the transitions in life should go through which is why it’s so easy to sit here to be pro-statement arts!
