My mother was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia with lymphoma this past spring. We were advised to go to MD Anderson for treatment because our local hospital couldn't treat her in this advanced stage. With God's grace and direction, my wife Cathy found ASCF online and the rest is history. ASCF was a God send and a help in my mother's desperate time of need. My mom is pulling through with each treatment on this cancer journey. This past year we have visited Houston every month, and ASCF has been there for us each time. I know the road to recovery may be long but I know folks at ASCF will be there for us. I like to think of ASCF as an oasis in the desert, so refreshing and peaceful after each day of chemo.
