The College of Adaptive Arts is a life changing collegiate experience for adults with special needs. My sister, Cathy, has Down Syndrome. From early on, whenever she accomplished something special to her, she would declare "I'm smart, huh." CAA says to everyone with special needs, "Yes, you are not only smart, but talented and filled with possibilities." And CAA gives them the opportunity to prove it. I have observed students grow in confidence in their own abilities and then encourage others. What a joyful experience for all !
