LCA is a true “boots on the ground” animal rescue and welfare organization. When there is political or social injustice hurting animals any where around the world they organize truly meaningful petitions and strong protests directed at governments and municipalities that have the power to make change. They partner with local animal protection organizations to have the best possible impact and to build trust with the people of the place they’re working to help. They don’t just protest and work to protect animals but they work to find solutions to the problems affecting animals and people alike. After signing a petition or donating for a particular campaign I always get feedback about progress. They are not patronizing but tell the real story about the obstacles and road ahead with a positive attitude about the progress that’s been made. I believe this is an organization that I can trust who are true to their cause and make the best possible use of donations.
