The Greater New Haven Community Chorus is exactly what it purports to be: a vehicle for men and women in the area who love to sing -- a place where they gather to do just that every Thursday evening, under the direction of a professional, music-loving conductor. There's no auditioning, freeing up those who might shy away from such a "trial." The atmosphere and demands are warm and friendly, the goals are high but attainable. There's opportunity for those who want to exercise their organizational as well as their musical skills, but "showing up" and singing with eagerness and attention is the main criteria. We have fun!
