After several years of volunteering at various cat shelters, I found my place at Hearts that Purr. The resident felines are given individual, loving attention with a genuine concern for their well- being. These senior cats, often grieving the loss of their person and home of many years, are welcomed and loved unconditionally. The facility, which is large ranch house converted to a “cat” house, is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. While the cats are always put first and foremost, both owner JeanMarie and and director Becky also ensure the volunteers feel valued and appreciated. HTP is a sanctuary not only for senior cats, but for feline-friendly humans as well.
