I retired May 2019. I reached out to Commonpoint to find out what type of volunteer activities were available. One can volunteer for activities for a diverse range of people who need assistance. I served lunch to seniors, chaperoned social events for disabled young adults, helped set up a pop up store with clothes for young adults entering the workforce to obtain clothes for job interviews. I currently volunteer at the Food Pantry. Volunteering has given my life purpose.

It is wonderful to have an organization in Queens that provides a variety of services for people of every age group. It has been particularly necessary during covid. The staff at Commonpoint are dedicated, socially conscious and caring.
