I had to get a surgery back in May and ended up having to cancel an entire tour to have the operation and then recover at home. It was a big loss of income and the Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation helped get me through that time. I'm very appreciative of the help and support!!

As a touring musician, I lost nearly all of my income when COVID hit. When I wasn’t sure how I was going to manage all my expenses, the Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation stepped in to help me out. It was an incredible grant, and what was even more incredible was that I reapplied and got it again in 2021. I’m so so appreciative to this foundation and everything they’ve done to help keep me doing what I love and supporting the ones I love.
