Review for High Fives Nonprofit Foundation, Truckee, CA, USA
The High Fives Foundation has been a huge support for me during my long recovery from serious injuries resulting from an indoor climbing gym accident. Getting my mobility back has been arduous and frustrating at times, but the financial assistance and positive rehab community that High Fives has provided to me has been very important and I will be forever grateful for it. The staff have all been so warm and helpful, it truly is a wonderful organization that I am proud to be associated with. Thank-you High Fives!

High Fives Foundation has given me a new surge of hope & motivation for my recovery & rehabilitation since my catastrophic fall & injuries that occurred in October 2020. I fell 33ft onto the floor during an indoor rock climbing gym accident, resulting in two very mangled ankles & 2 fractured vertebrae, but thankfully no paralysis. It has been a very painful & very emotionally difficult 9 months as I struggle to get my mobility & life back, with more surgeries & extensive rehab remaining. I am very grateful for the financial support HIGH FIVES is providing to help give me the best shot at a full recovery. Connection to their support network & goal orientated framework is also helping with my motivation & hope; two things that have been dwindling lately as I struggle to get my mobility back. I am looking forward to brighter days ahead and trying to focus on activities & adventures that I CAN do for now, instead of getting upset at all the things I CAN’T do. THANK-YOU HIGH FIVES FOUNDATION!!
