As an intern, I have witnessed the extraordinary work Baxter does for its neighbors. Baxter is committed to its mission by providing beneficial programming and by hosting fun summer community events at Joe Taylor Park. This summer I have not only learned about the great impact Baxter Community Center makes but about how development works in a nonprofit organization. Baxter is a fun, supportive, inclusive, upbeat, place to be with passionate staff and volunteers.
