The WNP helps women of Nicaragua learn skills that they can use to earn income for their families. They do a fantastic job of using donated items to supply the learning centers - including sewing items, beauty supplies, gardening tools and baking items. The results of these programs is amazing. WNP also supports an eyeglass project that provides donated eyeglasses to those in need. I have donated many items that I no longer need and worked with a group to make eyeglass cases out of plastic canvas. Monetary donations are used to ship the containers to Nicaragua, I am proud to support this program.
