Almost 6 years ago I volunteered for the 1st time at Mylestone & it was 3 degrees below zero. Not once did I ever think about not going back. Now I volunteer twice a week and it is without a doubt my best 8 hours of my week. The horses help me as much as I help them (well they don't give me human treats but that's ok). The owners are wonderful people and absolutely everything they do is in the best interest of the horses (& goat). I'd give them 6 stars if I could :) Thanks for everything Mylestone!

I feel blessed to be able to volunteer at Mylestone. My first day over 3 1/2 years ago, I arrived and it was 3 below zero. It quickly made me realize that no matter what the conditions are, these wonderful horses (& a goat :) ) need to be cared for every day and night. It is wonderfully run, every decision (easy or tough) is made with each horses best interest in mind and it is great to be part of the team. Without a doubt, my best 6-8 hours each week are spent at Mylestone!
