My Nonprofit Reviews

I am an ESL tutor for Project Literacy. I have helped a Student get his Citizenship, become a lifelong friend with my second Student, and have a dear Friend with my current student. I was looking for volunteer work in retirement (from education) that was challenging and using my skills. I also wanted to give back because my parents were immigrants and took ESL in night school. My Students have learned English from me and I am so proud of them. I have learned so much about different cultures from them. I have learned to have more empathy, compassion, and understanding from them. Thank you my Students! With love, Denise
