Assistance League of Omaha has served the Omaha community for over 45 years. Despite the COVID19 pandemic with all the required restrictions, ALO members creatively continued to serve children and adults through six philanthropic programs. Some examples: Approximately 2500 children were clothed through Operation School Bell with parent feedback expressing gratitude for the support during a harsh winter and financial challenges. Assault Survivor Kits were provided to hospital emergency rooms and other agencies, including Project Harmony, to assist female and male assault patients during their time of need. The support of donors and grant foundations was timely and critical to maintaining programs and greatly appreciated.
