ARTBAR works miracles for homeless animals, in an area of great need and few resources. Amazing founder, dedicated volunteers, tireless advocacy and compassion. Some of the most devastating cases of abuse and neglect have been saved by this small group. Please support if you can. Every cent helps an animal in need.

I have volunteered for greyhound Friends since 1989, in a wide range of roles. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with such devoted and dedicated people, including the staff, volunteers, and board members. New leadership in recent years has reinvigorated the organization and its commitment to adoption and advocacy for greyhounds, other sighthounds, and dogs generally, both in the US and abroad. Collaboration with other animal welfare/adoption professionals has deepened, and successful adoptions have continued through the challenges of the pandemic and beyond. Over the years Greyhound Friends has grown into a strong and widespread community of dog lovers/adopters with shared values and goals to help dogs everywhere. I am proud of my association with this group.
