3 weeks have passed and my $5000 check donation still has not been cashed . 5 days ago, I emailed them with an URGENT , URGENT heading , no response . Yesterday I call their headquarters in N.Y. and asked to speak to its president . Due to the covid pandemic , I was told that she is working out of her home .The gentleman , who answered the call , asked for my email address and stated that she would email me . Needless to say , that hasn't happened either ! Today I asked the bank to stop payment on the check. Either this organization is too inundated with donations or is too disorganized and inefficient in its office matters .
This was my first contribution with the thought of naming it as the beneficiary of my estate. Lesson learned ! NOT A CHANCE IN HELL !!
