I started volunteering at SAFE in January 2021. I was so impressed with the organization of the volunteers, the level of communication, and incredible appreciation of both volunteers and staff. I felt welcomed and supported from the first day. After six months, I've fallen even more in love with this special non-profit. They truly understand how to rehabilitate horses and make sure they are well-homed for their lifetime. Alumni horses and ponies are still part of the larger family and celebrated. They understand how important training is in order for these precious animals to be ready for adoption. I think I'm a lifer here. Thank you SAFE!!!
