I will never forget the first meeting with Rayan and Emely founders of Fundacion LUENA, it was there around 2019, at the moment I felt that we were cocociated many years ago and it was not really like that, immediately identify that Fundacion Luena is an organization that works intensely for the needs most heartfelt of the most vulnerable sectors, I could feel that its founders have an immense heart, an extraordinary social commitment and a very strong connection was immediately produced between Fundacion Hogar Lucereos del Amanecer and Fundacion Luena.
I admire and appreciate everything they do and how they do it, how they focus on the needs of the people, how they define their lines of action to solve specific needs, they focus on the change of the human being but also on improving the living conditions of many people who suffer and suffer the harshness of extreme poverty.
This year Fundacion Luena approved a project for Fundacion Civil Hogar Luceros del Amanecer in Camoapa, Nicaragua, five thousand dollars to solve specific difficulties of the children, staff, families and the community of the programs that are served in the Foundation.
Build a dining room with a multipurpose definition for the boys and girls of the Mother Teresa school in Calcutta, a kitchen to prepare food for the children of the same school, a storage room for school tools, this project impacts the entire system of funconality of the school and dignifies the school life of children, teachers and parents.
We improved the economic condition of a high school teacher from the Francisco Picado school in the Mombacho community. This teacher received a derisory contribution that was deficient for survival, with funds from the Luena Foundation we substantially improved the salary status of this teacher. A very important motivation and stability factor that has been generated both for the Teacher and for the 24 Students of this school.
Thanks to the funds from Fundacion Luena we have a poultry farm with 50 laying hens, this project will strengthen the nutritional quality and food security of the 345 boys and girls who are cared for in this project.
An infinite thanks to Fundacion Liuena for their trust placed in us, for their samples of generosity and solidarity, for the strengthening actions that they are generating in Fundacion Hogar Luceros del Amanacer, thank you for being a factor of change in the lives of the people of the municipality of Camoapa, Nicaragua, we hope to continue developing more projects in Nicaragua.
