Volunteering at this clinic has been such a pleasure. Physician's Care Clinic (PCC) comprises a group of dedicated physicians and medical staff that understand the necessity of medical care in their community and what it takes to achieve a functional safety net to those in need. I believe that a cohesive community must be fostered by its most privileged members and, if done correctly, those with influence can make life better for all their less-fortunate neighbors. This is the case for the kind and capable physician leaders that formed PCC as an outreach program of the DeKalb Medical Society. They uphold the same standard of medical care in their volunteer time as in their professional practices. Their DeKalb-resident patients are grateful to have the services of PCC!... and I am happy to be counted among the volunteers at this special organization.
