Review for Penn Soil RC & D Council, Warren, PA, USA
I belong to a group of volunteers from Warren, PA. Our project, the Pennsylvania Kinzua Pathways, originated as part of the Leadership program in 2009. Upon completion of the program, we continued with our mission to enhance the attractions surrounding the Allegheny Reservoir by improving connectivity and perpetuating the rich history of the area. Penn Soil RC & D has served as PKP's fiscal agent since our first grant award in October 2009 and continues to effectively manage funds for the project as we embark in a major capital campaign fund raiser to bring a state of the art mountain biking trail system to our area.
We are especially grateful to Wes Ramsey for his time and dedication and for all the wonderful advice and guidance he has provided the group with since day one. Without the support and backing of an organization such as Penn Soil, we would have never been able to accomplish what we have to date.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
...the satisfaction of learning how contagious doing good can be. This experience has put innumerable wonderful people on our path and thanks to them and the passion we all share for the beauty surrounding our Reservoir, we have no doubt that we can make this vision a reality. We have already seen a new hiking trail and many improvements happening in the area...the best is yet to come though!
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
We are a group of 3 volunteers. With the passion and drive of a fleet, but if there is anything I would change, it would be to find more dedicated people like us that share the same passion for this project and would come work with us!
