Review for Mural Music & Arts Project, East Palo Alto, CA, USA

I began my relationship with MMAP as a junior undergrad. I currently volunteer as a classroom assistant for HEArt and a drama instructor for HHH. I have always been amazed and honored at the level of responsibility that program directors have given me. They are helpful and encouraging as I grow into my role within the organization.

I am glad to volunteer at MMAP and would encourage others to do the same. The youth are inspiring and the staff is supportive! You will get out more than you put in.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my growth as a teacher and a leader, and the relationships I have with students and staff.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

have regular meetings among the whole staff including volunteers.

Role:  Volunteer & I am a classroom assistant for middle schoolers in the HEArt Program, and I teach drama weekly for high schoolers in HHH.
