My husband & I fostered around 13 dogs with Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group. Some were harder to acclimate to their new environment more than others but we were always supported by the staff with whatever we needed. They provided all the food & supplies needed. Once they even sent a trainer to our home to reach us how to work with an especially timid dog. It is clear that they care about who their dogs are adopted out to as evidence of their application process. It is hard not knowing the dog’s background but unfortunately that is very common in rescue organization. They do their best to provide as much info as they know. We are no longer involved only because we have relocated to Florida. Here are some of the dogs we fostered.
