After learning about the compelling concept of IMPACT 100 in FL, I brought the idea home to
Louisville, KY. One hundred women donating $1,000 each creating a grant of $100,000 for a
single local nonprofit. Imagine the impact--allowing nonprofits to dream large and deliver
incredible benefits to their constituents! We started with 206 members and just had our first
in-person event to reveal this year's membership--over 300--and hear the six-month update of last year's winners. When everyone stopped cheering, there was probably not a dry eye in
the very large room of about 85 women. It is a life-changer idea and so, so rewarding. The
Impact 100 Council has done an amazing job of helping more than 60 IMPACTS get started and
is quick with follow-up answers to questions while still letting each chapter think independently. It has changed my life significantly and added a dimension I didn't even realize
was missing.
