Review for Phoenix Women's Chorus, Phoenix, AZ, USA

My first AZWIT concert was held at the rehearsal space for the PHX Boys Choir. The room was packed with women (and some men), the choir members sang their hearts out, and the music was lively and engaging. That was sometime in the late 1990's. I have been attending faithfully since then--watched the choir ebb and flow, grow and change. The Holiday concert 2010 reminded me of the energy, spirit, and community of the first concert. I LOVED IT!
When I go to an AZWIT concert I never know whether I will laugh or cry--or both--because the range of music presented is not only excellent quality, it is emotionally riveting and speaks to my woman's heart. AZWIT is an art community that deserves the accolades it has won and the support of women (and men...) throughout the valley. ENCORE!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Fully fund them to make their wonderful accessible to more people throughout the valley

Role:  General Member of the Public & I listened joyously to the community of women singing their hearts out, tapped my feet, clapped my hands, and was proud to know AZWIT.
