I wish I also read reviews. I was a member 10 years back I ordered tons of stuff. The only tree that survived was the free tree and its only about 8 feet tall now and last fall I noticed its diseased. I thought it might have been different. But it has gotten worse. I asked for replacements on all the free package trees with membership. I recieved them today they look like they dieing and starving for water especially the spruces. Seems to me that they do not take care of the trees before sending them. I spent $100 on trees and bushs back in April and planted them. There isnt any that have budded yet. Except the hycythia's. The tree I bought from Aldi a month ago already has leaves on it. I didnt mind spending more money on trees from Arbor day to support a non profit. But they literally are wasting money by not taking proper care of their trees. So sad.
