Review for Wolf Creek Heritage Museum, Lipscomb, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I volunteer at the Wolf Creek Heritage Museum once or twice a week.

Enjoy working there, as it a clean well organized museum. The other volunteers are a charm to work with.

My job is to index all of our obituaries that we have on file by town and states. There are approximately 10 volumns now and continue to grow.

The grounds are so pretty in the spring and summer, as the flower beds are full of bloom with all different kinds and the trees are growing so there will be more shade to the building.

There is a reception once a month for the honored artist of the month, so cookies, punch and coffee are brought by the volunteers. A great museum.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

All of the work is done by everyone. The first of this month was spent hanging the art work of the county school children on display for 2 months. They just published a Volumn 2 book for Lipscomb County, and everyone worked on it. A very informing book.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would complete the paper work on each item, before I started on another one.
