Our adoption coordinator, Terri, and the foster family were so wonderful to work with during the process of adopting our dog. As first time dog owners (primary), we understood why our many applications were not chosen but were glad PAWS New England decided to choose us to adopt our dog. Both Terri and the foster family were very communicative throughout the process, answering all of our questions and keeping us updated until we got to bring her home. We also felt like they were very honest and gave us as much information possible about her temperament/health. While it was an adjustment for our dog to move from a more wide open area to city living, she is doing great. When we had issues with some reactivity, the PAWS team sent us resources and local organization that could help us. All in all, we would highly recommend PAWS NE to anyone interested in adopting a dog.
