I've had experience with this wonderful organization for nearly 11 years, first as an adopter and later as a volunteer. My first interaction was the adoption of our dog 11 years ago. A couple of years later I once again turned to FHS and adopted our first cat from them. I continued to follow them and, a couple of years ago, decided to volunteer and foster. It has been a rewarding experience! I have since adopted two more cats through FHS and continue to serve as a volunteer.
