Ruff Tales Rescue changed my family's life forever. We adopted our female husky, Maya, from RTR. We at first wanted a companion for our male husky but Maya turned out to be an even greater blessing in disguise for all of us. The RTR adoption process is painless and we understood and appreciated how thorough they are in the vetting process. They follow the rules. You have to appreciate a rescue that puts the effort, seriousness and care into rescuing dogs. So, in a nutshell, we filled out an application online, they conducted a home visit, they checked our references, checked with our vet, we were approved, we met her and that was it - My husband fell in love with her at first site and she not only became his best friend, but our boy Levi got a sweet little sister to love. The added bonus, Maya turned into my mother's best friend. After having a kidney transplant it was as if Maya knew our mom had to be treated differently, gently. She bonded with my mom in one of her toughest times and turned her into a dog lover. Thank you RTR for all that you do in saving the lives of dogs and humans alike!
