In December I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in Addiction Studies. It had been a long-time goal of mine to become a college graduate and to help members of our community who suffer from addiction and co-occurring diseases. I found a great job a couple of months later and was excited to start. Then, my car broke down! I reached out to Dr. Lynn Phillips at The Fallen & Wounded Soldiers Fund. I had never asked for help like that and I did not know what to expect. Dr. Phillips was so kind and helpful. She explained the process and got things moving for me. A short time later she told me that they would be able to help me pay for the repairs to my car! I am SO THANKFUL to Dr. Phillips and her organization. Without them, I would have been unable to work and to move forward in my life. Thank you Dr. Phillips and The Fallen & Wounded Soldiers Fund! You guys rock!
