High Fives supports athletes financially, but more than that they have built a great community for them to become a part of after sustaining a catastrophic injury. I sustained my spinal cord injury late in the evening jumping my mountain bike on jumps very familiar to me. I was left paralyzed from the waist down with little preserved function in my legs. I am grateful to become part of this community as I continue my rehabilitation journey and my fight to reclaim an active outdoor lifestyle.
