I have been involved with FFHM since 2003. I have seen the mission go through some hard times and seen immense growth come out of those times.

They haven't always done everything right. Who has? As with most non-profits, they did the best with what they knew at the time.

With an infusion of fresh leadership who desires to get it right, the mission is flourishing and the people they serve are benefitting from that. There have been incredible changes over the last decade that have altered policies and procedures for the better.

The staff at FFHM truly seek to do what is best for kids. There is a renewed focus on the children's home aspect of the ministry that is allowing kids to grow and thrive.

I spent several summers and a school year at the mission on staff. For the last several years, I have taken teams from our church so that they can see what God is doing in the Baja. As someone who works in education and is passionate about serving the least of these, I couldn't be involved with any organization that wasn't completely above board and honest in their dealings.
