Review for Rainbow Center, Tacoma, WA, USA
I have served as an intern here at the Rainbow Center since the last part of March; in that time, I have learned a great deal about serving needs withing GLBT communities, working as a team player, and a number of other things I would not have learned had I not had this opportunity. It has been challenging and very rewarding and has truly enriched my life, and working with excellent professionals like Aimee and Andre has made it even more complete.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
In the look of relief that often accompanies a patron when they've had a chance to talk out an issue they're having,or when they've stepped onto more secure ground because they've been pointed to a resource that is very much needed.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would hire Andre and Aimee outright and pay them to continue to do the job they're doing.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The learning, the new things, and getting to know some new people.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
All very friendly and helpful
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Serve more people more extravagantly.
Ways to make it better...
If I'd only had a little more confidence in my learning ability and not been so self depreciating.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
There doesnt' seem to be as much community support as there should be.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I hope the Rainbow Center is areound for a long, long time.
