Review for St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, SD, USA
Considering the hundreds upon hundreds of individuals, groups, and organizations that seek financial help from donors such as myself, I can say without a doubt that giving to St. Joseph's Indian School is a sharing of God's ministry, and as such, means so dearly to me over the years. From a personal perspective, support for Native American children has for too long been often overlooked. So upon seeing an opportunity to contribute to an extremely worthwhile cause, I definitely wanted to support such a mission.
St. Joseph's Indian School and its reaching out for financial assistance is excellent because as a contributor, I can see directly how these donations will be used, especially how they will be used in caring for the children's personal needs, their education, the maintenance of the necessary facilities, and of greatest importance - the love and spiritual care each receives in a world so in need of such love. What is so ironic is that no matter how much or how little one gives to St. Joseph's, what one receives back from the children is worth so much more in love and thankfulness than one could ever give monetarily. The looks on their faces expresses so well the love and appreciation they have for all who help support them.
Add to this the wide assortment of gifts revealing Native American historical culture, cards for different occasions, a number of useful every-day items, and of course photos, background letters, and videos of the kids themselves and the activities in which they are involved. May I personally offer my heart-felt kudos and praise to Fr. J. Anthony Kluckman, the teachers and staff, and all others who in some way assist in making St. Joseph's Indian School such a blessing for so many. May God's countless blessings continue to be with you in lovingly reaching out to our Native American children and youth.
