Heidi’s Legacy pulled Miss Punkin from a kill shelter 1 day before she was scheduled to be euphanized. She came to live with me and my pitty Molly after my other American Bulldog died. Thanks to her foster, she came housebroken and knowing basic commands — sit, stay, lie down, come. Punkin is such a love and my constant companion. I became a monthly supporter of Heidi’s Legacy, and the rescue supports us to this day in many ways. Of the 9 dogs I’ve had over the last 25 yrs, 7 have been rescues.
