My name is Samuel Yeboah, a student of the University for Development Studies in the Northern Region of Ghana. I am in my third year reading Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science.
Financing my education has been my utmost problem from Senior High School until I became a beneficiary of Educational Pathway International (EPI) Scholarship. My encounter with (EPI) has been the turning point of the financial crises in my educational life.
Educational Pathways International is a scholarship scheme that provides financial assistance to needy and brilliant students. Financing tertiary education in this part of the world is a problem for many. The emergence of EPI has been a lifesaving Organization for many tertiary students.
Educational Pathways International does not only provide financial support to me as a beneficiary. They organize seminars to educate us on other aspects of life that shapes our academic, leadership, social lives and also to prepare us for the corporate world in the future.
During this era of covid 19, Educational Pathway International advised us on the various preventive measures against the virus.
I am very grateful to Educational Pathway International for their support in my academic life. Growing up as a young adolescent in my community, I realized one of the major problems confronting my people was the easy spread of diseases, I always thought of a way I could help eradicate these diseases from the community.
This geared my attention towards Medical Laboratory Science. This aspect of the health care system uses human body fluid to diagnose the cause of disease and hence providing information on the right treatment to be meted out.
Upon graduation as a Doctor of medical laboratory science, this will help me provide education on the cause of the diseases and the means of preventing such diseases in my community.
I will again collaborate with other health care professionals to organize free health screening for the people of my community.
I am of high hopes to setup a scholarship scheme of my own to assist brilliant and needy children within my community since I have seen the importance and benefits of Educational Pathways International in my life.
