I have supported Salesian Missions for over 30 years. They have schools, hospitals and missions around the world. Their expenses are kept to a minimum and 90% + of revenues go directly to the needs of the communities. Would be hard to find another charity more deserving of your help. Regarding raffle tickets. I get them in the mail periodically as well. I do not participate in the raffle, but I am sure that they have found this a successful way of soliciting funds from other donors that would not otherwise participate.
