I can't speak more highly regarding my membership in WIFV DC. As a student filmmaker I had some questions and received terrific and informed guidance from WIFV Exec Director Melissa Houghton and the names of members to call regarding a specific area. The WIFV events are extremely useful and the speakers are knowledgeable. Over the week end I attended a WIFV brunch and had the opportunity to develop friendships with members and to have honest industry conversations with my professional peers. WIFV really does the best it can to help filmmakers in this city and to create a filmmaking community - WIFV rocks!
