Review for Phoenix Women's Chorus, Phoenix, AZ, USA
I've been aware of Arizona Women in Tune for most of the organization's existence. It has grown into a group that is a wonderful blend of community support for lesbians and pro-LGBT allies and a musical powerhouse. Member musical experience spans the spectrum, and the director is able to draw on the talents of each person and put on an entertaining, moving show each concert. I have been a non-singing member of the group on and off over the years -- this year I have volunteered by videotaping a concert for the group. The women of AZWIT truly support each other, on and off the concert stage. And that is what makes them so very special!
