Change always comes bearing gifts and no better gift could have been given to AZWIT than Dr. Lucik Aprahamian. AZWIT's new conductor should have been wearing a bow and certainly the audience was aware of the technical upgrade. For me this is the first time that I recognized this group as a Chorus. I noticed that the subtleties of conscientious direction have been restored or perhaps for the first time been presented. The lyrics were crisp and the punctuation was spot on. Metaphysically, the energy was positive and tangible. The Bass, the piano and the drums were exceptional and could have been an interlude. Really, I feel like Arizona Woman in Tune may have found their way and their voice. Bravo!
