Review for The Borgen Project, Tacoma, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My time with the Borgen Project was educational, supportive, and life-changing. Especially in the midst of a pandemic I was still able to connect and help a healing world. I learned how to stand up for the world's poor and debunked many myths that were holding me back from speaking out about global poverty before. This internship will push you and I think that is what all interns should look for when considering which company to intern for. The program was organized, the tracker had many helpful hyperlinks that send you to informative pages, videos, and more. The mixed media allowed me to both see and digest the information in different ways aiding in my overall comprehension of the topics. The organization itself was structured really well. You always knew who to email with questions, the interactive google documents help keep you organized and maintain constant communication. It is great practice for any job not just within a non-profit organization. If you have the chance to work with the Borgen Project it is highly recommended!
