I fell in love with the Dare to Dream Foundation when I lived in Dallas many years ago. The founder, Jan Tennyson has an amazing testimony of being raised in the foster system and has a beautiful heart to serve children in the same circumstances that she grew up in. Jan's passion for encouraging these kids to dare to dream is contagious. Jan and her team of volunteers (which I once was) actively serve, encourage and minister to youth who have lost hope in the system, in themselves and in others. I was involved with the one-on-one mentoring program which allowed me to develop relationships with the kids and to model what a trustworthy relationship looks like. Dare to Dream Foundation is truly an unwavering light for troubled and neglected youth in the Dallas metroplex.
