Review for Phoenix Women's Chorus, Phoenix, AZ, USA
I've had over 20 years of experience in the performing arts as a dancer, then actor, then theater manager, and more recently, singer. I was told on a couple of occasions to see AzWIT concerts, but the timing never quite worked out. Thank goodness I finally went to their 2010 holiday concert. The pieces were well-rounded for a diverse audience, the stories heart-warming, the presentation classy, fun, interactive, and joyful, and the music was beautiful. After realizing they produced this result with an inclusive approach to singers of all levels, I was extremely impressed. In my experience, this kind of result only comes from a group that loves what they do, has excellent leadership, and all members are committed to the group's mission. I enjoyed the concert so much, that after a ten-year hiatus from being involved in the performing arts, I joined AzWIT in January of 2011 to lend my voice to their amazing work!

Explore ways in which to increase AzWIT's visibility and secure funding for expanding their message of tolerance, which is desperately needed in Arizona.
