My invitation to a KAPN meeting was happenstance. I am a good friend of a former officer at KAPN, and made a last minute decision to check it out. Now, I have worked at several non-profits over the past 15 years, doing everything including administrative tasks, clerical work, to grant writing.

The level of enthusiasm and professionalism shown by the officers, staff, and volunteers was inspiring. It reminded me why I worked in the non-profit industry, and for that reason alone, I have to say KAPN is an impressive group of sincere individuals. It was obvious to me that they hadn't wavered from their mission to uplift and empower. A wonderful non-profit.
