Review for Mobile Art Program, Austin, TX, USA
I have had the pleasure of working with founder Theresa and her group of volunteers over the last year and have enjoyed every minute of it.
Mobile Arts brings art education to older adults who may not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue them. Through a variety of media and themes, participants in Mobile Arts are able to express themselves creatively, engage socially in a relaxed setting, and challenge themselves while learning new skills.
Mobile Arts is a wonderful, empowering, and inspiring organization.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
While volunteering with the Mobile Arts program at Meals on Wheels, I was touched to see the positive way in which participants responded to the program. Through the art activity, older adults with Alzheimer's were able to engage in a meaningful way with the volunteers and the art despite their disease. This was because the program was thoughtfully planned for their needs, and the art instruction was clear, patient, and "no-pressure".
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
.Mobile arts is fantastic. if anything were to improve it - i would want to secure more sponsorship & community support so that they can grow their staff & services. This is an amazing and timely organization that serves a population that is growing larger every day. I'm sure many more older adults in Austin would benefit from their engaging programs.
