Breast Cancer Hub and Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy are doing phenomenal work in creating awareness and reaching out to people from all walks and all backgrounds of life with pertinent life saving information. Dr. Das Roy’s passion and dedication are commendable. She spends every waking moment and every ounce of energy to help families save lives by teaching them about early detection and arming them with required knowledge to prevent and fight this deadly disease. She is also a pillar of strength for patients who are battling cancer and also their ray of hope. Her selflessness and transparency with the workings of the organization has made it possible for the community to place unwavering trust in BCH. Every penny goes towards the cause, it’s heartwarming to read stories of children’s friends adults who have been helped through the organization. When Dr. Das Roy learned that my mother is a breast cancer survivor, she made sure to meet and interview her in Mumbai so my mom could share her inspiring and brave story with other women. Such is her devotion to her cause and mission. Dr. Das Roy also mentors students and my son is fortunate to have been guided by her for the Young Scientists Meet. The entire experience of research and presentation was an eye opening one for him. Deeply grateful to you Lopa for all that you do.
