In honor of Rabbi wolkenfeld ,
A couple of days ago rabbi wolkenfeld of child life society treated us to an amazing day of spa treatment and a gourmet dinner to end the day!
We cannot describe in words how grateful we are for this much needed treat ,cystic fibrosis is a very complex disease , we as cf mom deal with all its challanges on a daily basis which can be really overwhelming ,
Whenever we need anything even just emotional support rabbi wolkenfeld will try to help us in any way!!
We all look forward and appreciate everything rabbi wolkenfeld does which makes our lives much easier !!!
May hashem repay you and bless you and your family with much nachas gezinterheit!!

In Honor Of Rabbi Wolkenfeld, 12/26/2021

The winter is long and dreary and cold, the days are short, the nights seem endlessly long. The stresses of life exacerbate the feelings of anxiety living with the looming dread of cystic fibrosis, especially in these days where there is so much upheaval in the medical field, where germs and viruses threaten the susceptible to illness, especially to our children we feel vulnerable, however from one minute to the next we can feel relief!
Thank you to rabbi wolkenfeld of child life society for treating us mothers of children with lung disease to a day of respite, we were all treated to a day which felt like an oasis in the dead of winter. He rented a private house in a beautiful setting, we were served scrumptious and lavish meals, as well we were offered relaxing entertainment, we were able to talk to parents and feel validated, we were able to socialize and feel comradery and dance together and let off steam. We came away feeling refreshed and invigorated, we can’t thank you enough for treating us and giving us strength to continue dealing with our daily struggle! It also gave us an emotional boost to lift our spirits and not feel alone.

To Rabbi Wolkenfeld ,

I have no words to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to rabbi wolkenfeld for always helping us out with our beautiful daughter that unfortunately has cystic fibrosis it’s a very challenging disease! But because of this amazing organization rabbi wolkenfeld makes our life much much easier !!!we were in key west a couple of weeks ago it was truly amazing the house was sooo clean the pool was great ! There was nothing missing !! We look forward to this respite all year long .. may God help you should always be able to help families with cf !!!
