We discovered Goldens Without Borders in October 2019 when they had an adoption event at our neighborhood dog park. We had lost our 15 year old lab/pit mix a couple of years earlier and we were finally ready to add a new family member to our home. We adopted Garvey a few days later and can’t say enough good things about this wonderful organization. Everything about GWB is professional, and their passion to save these loving golden retrievers is truly inspiring. Since welcoming Garvey into our family we’ve also become a GWB foster family which has been incredibly rewarding. It’s safe to say that trip to the dog park changed our life for the better. We’re very thankful to Sheila, Theresa, and every one of the many GWB volunteers that work so hard to save, and find loving forever homes, for as many goldens as possible. We’re looking forward to being a part of GWB for many years to come.
